LABR 3080 - Labour and Community Organizing |
This course examines the theory and practice of collaborative community and labour organizing, with particular emphasis on Latin America, to identify the strengths and limitations of this approach for reviving unions, protecting workers' rights and advancing social justice. Prerequisite: [a grade of "C" or better in both LABR 1260 (the former LABR 1270 or 153.127) and LABR 1290 (153.129) (the former 153.128)] or written consent of the Labour Studies coordinator.
