HNSC 1200 - Food: Facts and Fallacies. This course is delivered remotely. It uses a synchronous course design. Students are expected to be online during the scheduled class times. The recordings of the synchronous lectures will be made available for one week (each lecture). Your computer or device, and Internet connection must meet the UM minimum requirements found here https://centre.cc.umanitoba.ca/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Student-Connectivity-Recommendations.pdf. These are required for all Fall 2020 classes. Students must have an UM Learn account. Additional technology required: Webex, webcam and a microphone. The evaluations will include all or some of the following: quizzes, tests, assignments, group discussions, and exams. The students will be required to enable their webcam and microphone during the tests and exams, as the exams and tests will be proctored (monitored). Lockdown browser will also be enabled by the instructor.
