KIN 3912 - Athletic Therapy Practicum (Part A). This course is delivered face to face. Students require PPE (cloth or non-medical grade masks plus either a face shield or goggles or glasses). Course assessment includes online orientation and training modules with quizzes (i.e. CCES, PHIA, PPE, Bison Field Care); weekly seminar attendance & participation; Bison HPTC (high performance training centre) placement; Written assignments & reflections; competency-based practical skill tests including clinical skills (history, observations, special tests & palpations) and field skills (taping, splinting, etc.); clinical supervisor evaluation; field supervisor evaluation.
