Part of Term: Summer Irregular 1 Levels: Graduate Main (Fort Garry & Bannatyne) Campus Education Schedule Type Learning Objectives: This Special Topics course will take on an Indigenous approach to education research methodologies and inquiry with a blending of hands-on experiential learning (praxis) and critical discourses (theory). Students will engage in discourse on consolidating Indigenous and Western approaches to education research. Students will also learn to critically examine research paradigms and suitability within Indigenous research methodologies and education. Indigenous land-based teachings will be examined regarding past traditions, current practices, and future directions of education research.
