Critical thermodynamic processes are discussed that are associated with the Earth's atmosphere including dry and moist processes, phases of water, stability, cloud development and precipitation processes. Prerequisites: (one of GEOG 1290, GEOG 1291, GEOG 1200 or GEOG 1201), and (one of MATH 1230, MATH 1500, MATH 1501, MATH 1510, MATH 1520 or MATH 1530) or permission of department head or instructor,
