GEOG 3730 - Geographic Information Systems (TS) |
(Lab Required) Weekly two-hour lab. The course introduces students to the evolving science, technology and applications of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Related geospatial technologies such as Global Navigation Satellite Systems and Remote Sensing, as well as the field of Geomatics will be introduced. Not to be held with GEOG 2250. Prerequisite: a minimum of three credit hours from Geography, Geology or Environment courses numbered at the 1000 and/or 2000 level, or permission of instructor or department head.
