PHAC 4040 - Drugs in Human Disease II |
This course will teach foundational pathophysiological concepts underlying human disease and integrate them with the therapeutic and adverse effects of important drug groups. Emphasis will be placed on endocrine and organ system disorders, allergy and inflammation, infection, and
cancer. The course also offers an introduction to basic clinical pharmacology as well as several current specialized topics in pharmacology. Prerequisite: PHGY 1030 or (B10L 2410 and BIOL 2420) or permission of course director. PHAC 3000 is also recommended.
