POLS 3950 - Research Methods in the Study of Politics |
An introduction to the major quantitative and qualitative research strategies employed in the study of politics. The topics addressed include interviewing, content analysis, comparative studies, survey design, sampling, research ethics and basic statistical analysis. Students may not hold credit for both POLS 3950 and POLS 3951. Prerequisite: [six credit hours of Political Studies at the 2000 level] or written consent of instructor or department head.
