SOC 2294 - Understanding Social Statistics |
Focus is on the various statistical procedures sociologists use when analyzing quantitative data. The course introduces students to basic statistical computations and analyses in order develop an awareness of statistics in social research. Concentration is on what, when and how to apply
and interpret relevant statistical techniques in order to answer specific research questions. Students may not hold credit for SOC 2294 and any of: the former SOC 2290 or the former SOC 2291. Prerequisites: SOC 2292 or SOC 2013 or ANTH 2013.
